PrenupDesk is not a law firm, and nothing on it is legal advice. We publish what these agreements cost and explain how the rules generally work. We do not draft agreements, review yours, or tell you what to put in one. Marriage and property law is state law, and it varies in ways that catch people out, so what you read here is a starting point for a conversation with a lawyer licensed in your state, never a substitute for one. Acting on this site instead of getting advice for your own situation is a risk you take on yourself.

Using the words

The writing on PrenupDesk is our own. You are welcome to quote a passage with a link back for journalistic, academic, or personal use. Reproducing whole articles, or passing the work off as your own, needs permission first, at hello@prenupdesk.com. If you spot the site's numbers repeated somewhere without a source, that is exactly the recycling this site exists to push back on.

Using the images

Every photograph on the site is published under the licence named in its caption, and most are Creative Commons Zero. The caption credit links to the original, and the licence there governs any reuse, not this page. When a figure is our own chart or diagram, treat it like the writing above.

What we can and cannot promise

We check every price and rule at its source and put a date on it, and we fix what you tell us is wrong. Even so, services change their prices without warning and courts read the same statute in different ways, so the site is provided as-is, without warranty that every figure is current at the moment you read it. Confirm anything you are about to spend money on at the source, which we link for exactly that reason.

Links out

We link to services and primary sources so you can check our work. Those sites set their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not control what they do or what they charge. Some outbound links are referral links, disclosed in full on the disclosure page.
